Three Year Professional Workmanship Warranty

Three Year Workmanship Warranty.  We will stand behind our installation for three years from the date of installation.  It is important to understand, paint begins to weather the day we install it.  Oxidation and Corrosion begin immediately, but this shouldn’t be visible for years to come.  A Clean Fresh Paint Project should last for 3-5 years without any major issues.

Moorhouse Painting, Inc. warrants labor cost for a period of three years.  This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties. Expressed or implied. This warranty excludes incidental damage caused by abuse, neglect, settling substrate, moisture, expansion or contraction, or accumulation of dirt or debris.  Cracks and surface preparation are addressed as part of the initial scope of the work, but we cannot guarantee they do not reappear.  All decks, fences, porches or horizontal surfaces are guaranteed for (1) one year.

Color

Modern technology allows for the possibilities of almost any color on any substrate.  Understanding the limitations and optimal circumstances, we can suggest the appropriate products for the color you select.  For years we mixed by hand and adjusted colors to best fit the right environment.  No longer is that necessary because of advanced equipment.  In order to help you select the right color we have large color samples and often paint entire walls to help in color selection.

Recent changes in legislation prompted many manufactures to change their formulation of products that have been available for decades.  With modern waterborne technologies came the birth of great products that are durable, color resilient, emit fewer VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) and in some cases are easier to apply.

Selecting the Right Paint Product

From experience, we believe all paints are not equal.  Every major manufacture has a different level of quality to sell at different price points.  Paint Manufactures have both higher and lower priced products available. Generally you get what you pay for, but the larger issue is selecting what product is right for your project.  We generally use products that give us the most “bang for the buck” and still provide the longest warranty available.
